my name is JeWon I am the senior
designer for Levi’s so in terms of
innovation I think we’re always
constantly trying to find new ways to
innovate it’s not only in product but I
think you know sustainability is a big
message and a big initiative for us and
we realize you know being a big company
you can really make an impact on water
usage and you can have a say in how the
factories are run and how business is
conducted you know so I think that’s I
think that’s a really great thing the
inspiration behind the Commuter Series
is obviously it’s inspired by the people
at the company if you live in San
Francisco there’s people on bikes and
it’s rare not to see you know our Levi’s
arcuate peeking out from underneath the
saddle so I think you know these people
who are such devout wearers of Levi’s
just to be able to offer them a little
something so just little things that we
looked at to kind of rethink the usage
the things that people do every day when
they wear our jeans
I would have to say I feel like I am
constantly challenged here you know
every season there is a new set of
challenges and I feel like I’m always
learning and we always work through as a
team to figure it out and we always do
it’s like you know what can we do this
season that hasn’t been done how can we
innovate on denim how can we make it
more sustainable so I think that
definitely keeps it interesting and fun
and believe me you are never bored here
so keep you on your toes
