my name is Rhett I’m the store manager

here in the flagship stores of Levi’s in

Union Square if this store we have

people that come from all around the

world to shop here when you think of

coca-cola and Elvis Presley and Levi’s

those are just Americana staples and so

we’re representing that to the rest of

the world and so I definitely want them

to feel like they’re getting that

experience when you look through the

rich history of levi strauss when you

see that they integrated their factories

sometimes ten years before the

integrated colleges in the south i think

when you look at the eighties when the

AIDS epidemic came about and the

reaction that the world had to that and

the protection that Levi’s put around

their employees to make sure that they

are protected I’m this amazing thing I’m

very proud to work for a company that’s

willing to take those sort of risks are

things that they know that are right
