the point is to come into a town you
know find a bunch of nonprofits there in
that area and work with them to create
an environment that’s collaborative an
art space to kind of talk together work
on projects in a collaborative nature so
people come in and they may not know
about screen printing or they may not
know about letterpress but we have the
people that do
I
this is something that’s actually giving
back to the community the people that
live in the community and it creates a
buzz for especially in the art world and
people that are no creative like i
identify with that
so this is the like a Gutenberg portrait
and the idea behind it was to make a
t-shirt for some of the staff for our
opening party and the idea is that you
look at the shirt and most people don’t
know who Gutenberg is you know they
wouldn’t give saw a picture you wouldn’t
know so it’s like oh it’s not be me
notice that you can be kind of snarky
with the answer but at the same time it
also begs the question when you say like
oh who’s the guy you know on your shirt
and now you’ll recognize that guy
so the point of this project is an
experiment we’ll see how it works I
think it’s going to work really well
